Therapy provides an opportunity to explore and better understand oneself, including parts that may feel unfamiliar, uncomfortable, or scary. I believe that individuals hold the wisdom and answers they are looking for, though we sometimes learn to overlook these internal signals to meet expectations of others and the environment around us. By deepening our connection to ourselves and what matters to us, we can build a life that is authentic, meaningful, and responsive to our unique needs. I aim to support my clients in their journey of self-exploration and growth.
In my work with clients, I embrace an integrative approach that is tailored to each client’s background, strengths, and needs. Some of the approaches and interventions I draw upon to inform my work include humanistic approaches, attachment theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems, and neurodivergent-affirming practices. I also value mindfulness-based practices that deepen connection to the present moment and enable more conscious choice-making.
I work to create a therapeutic space built on trust and genuine expression, where clients can explore vulnerable facets of their lived experience without judgment. I believe that individuals are doing the best that they can, and asking for help is not always easy. I seek to highlight each client’s strength and resilience that has led them to this moment, helping them feel empowered by stepping into their unique and authentic voice.
