My work at its core is grounded in joy and possibility! I believe things like play, creativity, empathy and gratitude get us closer to healing. I tend to utilize inner child and attachment-based theories, somatic psychotherapy, and play therapy across the lifespan as a means for my clients to become aware of the life and body they are experiencing. With this awareness, they can then choose their reality, hopefully landing closer to the playground instead of the battleground. I like to create environments where my clients’ stories are met with authenticity and acceptance, operating under the philosophy that when we accept ourselves as we are then, and only then, can we be free to change.
