I am a daughter, sister, wife, and mother.  I am also an educator.  I understand the role that education plays in helping women and girls feel empowered.  I want to help girls build confidence, lower stress and become productive, knowledgeable citizens of the world.

Specialties:  I am a good listener and with the help of high-quality curriculum such as Stand Up! Speak Out!®, I can offer a reassuring and comforting voice during challenging developmental stages of life.

Other Experience: I have over 20 years of teaching experience at all grade levels, including elementary, middle and high school.  As a teacher and advisor, I mentor students so they can work through social, emotional, and academic complexities. I currently teach at Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy, and I taught at Chandler School for many years.

• M.Ed. Educational Leadership from Pennsylvania State University
• B.A. Connecticut College

Mission:  I am very interested in the importance of grit.  My mission is to make sure that young girls grow into strong, resilient women who can take on challenges, experience setbacks and still forge ahead.
